Default ITR & NOrmal Integra Shifters?

Just a quick question. I want to buy a short shifter for my 99 ITR DC2. This guy is telling me that the shifters will suite the normal intergra's and the type R's from 1994-2000. Normal being VTI-R's. Should I trust him? is this true? from my experiance of driving the two cars, they feel like they have different shifters.

The item is listed here at ebay in Australia

THanks!

thats not a short shifter....I dont' think
But to answer ur question, I bought a ITR shifter for my GSR and they are different as in the shape but the fittings are the same. The bottom parts are same and the top half, ITR is not as bent as the GSR one is. So yea, you can use ITR shifter for other TEG's also.
I'm using it so this is from experience...no bull ****
