Default Couple CRX Questions.........

Bought a 89 CRX Si for $300 without a motor and I'm gonna put the motor I just bought from Nippon in there. Now I don't know what year the motor is but the MPFI Intake is off of a 89 CRX Si and like I said the car is a 89...............

Do I HAVE to get a 89 CRX Si engine harness? or will others work????

Also a E-Brake question..............

The handle won't stay down........you push it down and it just "Springs" back up so you have to put something heavy enough to keep it down or else the e-brake will be constantly on..............

What does it need adjusted or something?? The car has been sitting for 4 yrs without a motor in it...does that have anything to do with it?

Take pics of the motor. The Intake Manifold don't mean ****. I've got an LS manifold on a B20.

engine code, and also i believe there is a stamp on the head that should say the year. I know on b series engines it says what year the engine is from the stamp on the head.

I just want to know If I should look for and get any 1.6 engine harness from 88-91 or If I have to Narrow my search to a 89 CRX Si harness Only????

Well I HAD a harness....but we chopped it up trying to do that mpfi swap, so now I need another one. I'm just gonna look for a 88-89 CRX Si harness.

Now Off to the Wanted Section!!

Hmm...............I though I had my answer, but now it seems to be split between......"Yea, You need to get a 89 CRX harness" and "No, any MPFI harness will work"......
