Ok im doing this for a friend he has a 93 ls teg and that bitch is slow the motor is good no problems we jsut gave it a tune up it dosent knock or anything so im starting to think its the tranny. now dont get me wrong its not *** slow but the 93 tegs are supposed to have 10 extra horse's and thats like what 140 145 somthing like that and my crx only has about 110 or somthing and i kill his *** other then mine every one kicks his *** too. so my qustion is does he ys1 tranny have anything to do with a lack of power if he switched it out would it be faster somone help him i feel bad for that turtle *** car.lol

check da ECU.. u mite b drivin it wid a different one.. my HB wid a gsr use to drive with a LS ecu and dat shie was slow. one day we swapped it and bam,, problem fix

 

could be the clutch...if u slam on the gas all the way do the rev shoot right up but it dosent pull at all

 

well i mean if that LS gets beat by a civic with a stock d-series motor, then theres something wrong with his car.

ok, back to the subject. i'd say check your cat and you exhaust the cat could be clogged. and yea getting beat by a stock civic is kinda bad, ive never been beat by a civic that didn't have forced induction or a swap. although my car is surprisingly fast compared to other cars because i hardly get beat by integras too(odd for having two bolt-ons on my car). oh yea my car does also send you back into the seat when you get on it

 

ok, the car is 12 years old.

give it a complete tune up..

 

your crx is about 600 lbs lighter than your friend's DA. but yeah, give it a complete tune up, new air filter, run injector cleaner through it, check timing, valve adjust, oil change, tranny fluid, and tell him not to be afraid to wind it all the way up to redline before he shifts.

 

i ll check the ecu that might be it but we did a tune up with everything that dident fix it and the cat is beat out there is nothing in it at all maybe the exhaust is clogged maybe not but anyways jsut to let you know my crx is not stock racing headers full catback stage 1 clutch cold air intake short throw racing wires rebuilt engine also. so if he did get his **** running right i will still beat him just to let you know lol

its a stock ls integra. its supose to be dog slow. crx si's and ls integras should be about the same speed more or less
