Removing alternator pulley

Nope, can't do it that way, you will probably have to remove the alternator all the way. The nut is 22mm, and since I didn't have access to air tools, I had to buy a 22mm box-end wrench (the kind w/ the offset head) to fit down in the pulley, and hold the shaft w/ a 10mm socket. But either way, the nut is 22mm.

I don't think its reverse thread. I need to take my pulley off to install the AEM pulley. I loosened the alternator and pointed it down then used my impact gun to take off the pulley.
So... regular thread... 14mm nut.

I'm just telling you my experience. I could care less how you spend your money. My steering stiffened a little. That's all I was really expecting. I didn't see any power gain at all.
