Default *Clunk* noise (DC2)

Ok well just throwing this out there for curiosity to see if anyone else has this problem.

When I take my foot off after holding the brake at a complete stop, I hear a clunk when I go to accelerate, like something is releasing. I want to associate it with the e-brake cause when I jack the car up with the ebrake and then go to let it down after the car is back on four wheels, that same clunk noise occurs.

Not that its really bothersome, just wanted to see if there was an easy fix for this.

Thanks

It almost sounds like a motor mount is going bad. Its easy to check just have some one hold the brakes and give it gas while you watch with the hood up. If you see the engine shifting alot and that noise. Otherwise a bad sway bar bushing/end link or other suspension bushing could cause that too

This seems logical b/c the motor idles somewhat rough and the engines movement is a little irradict at times. Im swapping a jdm r in about a month, so I am not too concerned if its a motor mount (getting hasport), but why would there be a noise after a release of the brakes? Its kinda like a creak and clunk at the same time....if that makes sense
