OK does anyone know the specs for a stock B18B1 97 teg, camshafts? And is it worth it to buy performance ones for a non-vtec? Cant find much info, help me out. thanks~~~

 

yea i looked for ya on google for like a good 20min and got nothing.....go get a chilton manual for your car at a auto parts store there like 18 bucks and will tell you everything u need to know ....pretty much every screw on the car and how to fix it.....the chilton book for my car has cam specs but only goes to 91 teg

 

So what does everyone think of perofrmance cams for non-vtec?

 

hell yea cam the **** out of it put new intake manifold and full exhaust with high flow cat

 

If you are going to go all motor put some cams in, but B18B engines love boost...just my .02 .....here the specs you wanted.

would i not have to change valve springs or any thing of that sort if i changed the cams? and whats the usual cost to have someone put them in?
