Default Do the pressure plate bolts use washers?

When I changed the clutch on my h22 EG, I remember the pressure plate bolts used locking washers.

I've got two sets of D series pressure plate bolts and neither set has washers on it.

Do I need to go buy some? Are they supposed to use locking washers?

But for sure no washers? I've got the TQ specs at work, but it doesn't say anything about the washers.

Does the situation change if you use an aluminum flywheel?

I had a fidanza flywheel on my h22 with a Clutchmasters stage 3 clutch kit, and it used locking washers on the PP.

When i used an aluminum flywheel on my old sohc zc i did not use any type of washers, i just reused the oem stock bolts.

Well what's strange is that the bolts I used with my Fidanza flywheel actually came with the flywheel.

I guess it doesn't matter. I never had any problems with the h22 or the flywheel/clutch combo.

Just curious, mainly!

When I did my clutch on my ZC, it didn't use any washers, although it came with all these washers that did not fit the pressure plate bolts, or any other bolt for that matter, so that was a little weird...
