Heres the set up.. Its an ek with b16a2 swap.. the mods are i/h/e with act clutch and flywheel.. I had itr cams in at one time and it ran perfect.. low end was good and high end pulled hard... I took out the cams and put them in my ef and put gsr cams in the ek.. now the motor drives hella weak under 2.5k and slowly picks up.. even in vtec u dont really feel any difference and cant hear it.. i can normally drive around town in 5th gear around 35-40 and it will still accelerate strong but now if i do it bogs and all u hear is the intake sucking air... wtf is wrong with it??? its sad because i barely pulled on a z6 with both ons.. i mean by an inch.... timing is dead on and plugs and wires are good.. any info it needed.. thanks in advance..

timing belt correct position, does it idle normally or is there a low idle

 

How's your valvetrain?

 

idle is perfect and valve train is good.. it drives fine but i can really notice the difference when i drive a different car with the same motor.. b16's normally scream at vtec but mine is dfferent.. u dont hear ****.. but vtec is working.. the car drives like a turtle untill like 7k then u feel a alittle accleration.. its feels like the car wants to go but isnt getting enough air or fuel mixture????

 

maybe these cams need more fuel or less fuel, if you have a adjustable fuel reg turn fuel press up then down to see if car responds better or worse.

 

either put the R cams back, or do a valve adjustment, check your timing on the distributer, and your timing belt. its very critical that your timing is done right. im almost 100% sure its your timing.
