its a 1982 (only year they were in the us) honda mb5

the bike has a title and is registered as a moped its only 49cc

It features a 49cc 2-stroke air cooled motor with a counter-balancer for minimal vibration. Oil injection so you didn't have to premix the gas and oil. CDI ignition. 16mm carburetor. 5-speed tranny with a manual clutch, chain driven final drive. Speedometer and tachometer (both cable driven) 18 inch 3-spoke ComStar (that's what Honda called them) mag style wheels. Dampener rod forks in front and twin 5-postion adjustable shocks on a conventional swingarm in the rear. Hydraulic front disc brake and a drum in the rear.
The bike is in very very good shape and has a lot of new parts, the top speed is about 50mph right now it has 9000 miles on it so im sure with a fresh top end ther would be some improvment in speeed, but everything works and it shifts great redlines at 10500rpm's

i bought it about a month ago and have spent everyday since restoring it and dont have much time to ride it. im in no hurry at all to sell it. for more info visit http://www.geocities.com/mb5racer/info.html

70CC TOP END KIT ADDED ABOUT 100 MILES AGO BIKE HAS MUCH MORE POWER NOW BUT STILL GETS 75+MPG

i am asking 850.00 firm keep in mind this bike requires no motorcycle liscence or insurance, i think even a helmet is optional in missouri.

WILL ALSO TRADE + ADD CASH FOR A OLDER SPORTBIKE

dude that thing is badass but outta my price range. I'm looking for a project myself, not an already restored one. That thing is awesome though.
