Default EF9 Civic SiR sterring knuckle question.

EF9 Civic SiR sterring knuckle question. Question..are these same as the EX ...I mean will the SiR callipers and disks bolt right up to the EX knuckles. My passenger side SiR knuckle swallowed a hub bearing......AGAIN...a pair of EX knuckles will be cheaper than the SiR ones..can't find a shop wo wil lsell me one..they want to sell in pairs.

THanks.....Still need pairs..the EX bearings are smaller than the SiR bearing (which is a TEG bearing) but its cheaper...Think the idiot machine shop damaged the bearing somehow as it failed in 30 days from install........Between the bearing and Machine shop services that set me back $125 don't wish to repeat that fisco again.

i don't get it- why do you want new knuckles instead of replacing the bearings?

and i'm pretty sure that the steering arm is a different length on the si-r, as was stated by one of the edm guys in a different thread.

i have two sets of ex knuckles, but have never held a si-r knuckle to confirm.

Bearing was replaced once at a cost of $125 (bearing and labor) and failed in 30 days...

either the nimrod who installed it did not meaure clearances and play or there was a defect in the bearing...and the shop won't fess up to installing a bearing too tight. I don't have the means to measure that at home.

any other shop requires me to take time off work to take it to.

the sir knuckle are not the same as ex knuckle; if you have the sir one you need to cut your inner tie-rod to make them fit right but really great steering response after
