im loosing about a quart a week. No leaks. It must be burning it but i dont see smoke. I do have crap build up on my spark plugs and sut in my exhaust but i dont see the smoke. I was thinking it might be valve stem guides or at least i hope cuz i was gonna put my vtec head on asap to see if that will fix it. Also would a PCV valve thats not completely vertical cause these problems?

 

check the spark plug plastic gaskets or whatever they are called.. they are small plastic circles between the valve cover and the spark plug holes.. if those don't seal well, oil will go into the spark plugs...

also, how many miles you got on your car... could be the piston rings going bad... if it's the 99 in your siggy i doubt that's the problem but could be if you drive the **** outta the car

and yeah i'd take out the valve to see if it's working.... if the crank pressure is not eliminated (bad pcv) then oil could start going through the weaker places in your motor since the pressure needs out once it's built up.

pedistal gaskets is what you were thinking of i believe

 

i put silicone on the pedistal gaskets a while back cuz they were leaking and that fixed that. But as for rings, that would be bad. Its a B18a and i really dont feel like messing with all of that. It probably does have a good amount of miles on it. I was thinking about doing a leak down test, can yall sum me up on how to do it.

You will need a compressor for this as well.
