EX knee assemble
OK I have a 90 civic dx and I need to replace the knee assemble (lca, strut, hub all of it) but when I was dong some research on here I was told that if I was going to replace it that I might aswell go with an EX knee for the bigger brakes so I was woundering if I do get the EX knee will I have to (A) get the EX proportion valve or MC/BC and (B) will it bolt right up? Thanks in advance
Yes the 90-91 4dr EX Knuckle will bolt on to your car. You don't need the proportioning valve but grab the MC. The EX has a bigger MC that will bolt to your booster, it is a 15/16 instead of the 13/16 that you have.
Also I'm not sure what a knee is but it is mostly called a knuckles.

The proper proportioning valve to use will depend on your brake setup. If you use the larger 10.3" fronts with stock drums in the rear, you'll need a '90-91 EX proportioning valve. If you use the 10.3" fronts and have converted the rears to discs, you need a '90-93 non-ABS Integra valve.
I think for now I'm staying with the drums so I will get the EX p.v. and as far as the term knee assemble goes it all depends on who you are buying it from, some junkyard and even some honda dealerships call it a knee assemble and some call it a knuckle.
