Umm, not all CRXes have the same size tank, so comparing miles per tank is irrelevent. EFs also seem to have many fuel gauge problems; my gauge does not read properly, along with many others' on this board.
The standard for comparison is miles per gallon. Using mpg negates any differences in fuel tank size and gauge problems.
That said, my '91 CRX Si with bone stock engine averages 37mpg combined city/highway.

Damn, most of these seem low. I got ~34mpg, so 340 miles per tank with my B16. I get around 300 miles per tank with my B18C5, so ~30mpg. That's combined city/highway, it gets around 34 on the highway, 28 in the city. Just wondering how these 1.6s are using so much fuel.
On a related note, my 1.5 in my Civic sedan gets like 28 mpg, but it's an auto and I beat the hell out of it around town. I have the same dope mods that CRX Toad has, with the addition of the Tweety Bird Floormats.

Same here, but I'm auto. When I do some more mods and swap to hf manual, I think I'll hit 50.

Is it possible to get a larger tank? If so, how much larger?

stock si and i'm getting like ~15 mpg
. i'm learing to drive manual and i have stalled a couple and the times i have driven the car it has only been for like 10 mins at a time. i think with driving the car 45 miles and having 16 starts doesn't help either. now that i'm getting better i expect the mpg to go way up.

I thought all 2g CRXs had the same sized tank (11.9 gallons) except for the HF w/ 10.4 gallons?

I see no room for a larger tank.

That's right. DX and Si have the same tank, but the HF has a smaller one, so comparing "miles per tank" across trim levels isn't really useful.
