Give us some more specifics on your compression ratio. Is this car being built for anticipation of boost or an NA application?

Nice tourque curve. Pretty much flat all the way from 2.5k rpm all the way to 6k rpm.

Where those high compression pistons or low compression pistons?

when i have the money, i plan on getting a JRSC for cheap. nothing big. if not, ZEX direct port or high comp. NA with pm7 pistons

well, the pistons yield another .5 of compression and thats about it. s/c or change the pistons and be NA

Getting over 110 whp on a mostly "stock" D16a6...this is not typical.
I'd go as far as to say its not accurate, but I can't conclusively do so.
And I'm not singling Tyson out...110whp with some bolt ons and good tuning is completely reasonable. But lately I've been seeing a couple dyno claims that are a little too impressive, especially for a stock engine.
For the record, I'm wary of any dyno numbers.
The type of "dyno" and calibration specs can easily account for a 10hp variance.
On something that measures up to 1500hp, 8-10hp seems like a reasonable margin of error. But at 100hp, it can totally misprepresent the results.

The A6 is a good motor... my first A6 dynoed lower (195k on the stock everything). my next motor went to the same dyno and picked up alot more power... but it was fresh.

you bumped the compressions at least .4... and you went over bore. make sure your motor is broken in propperly and the rings set.

my two stock motors on a Dynopack 3000
motor 1: 94.8hp (CAI, 2.5 cat back, +8 degrees on the cam)
motor 2: 124.1hp (CAI, 2.5 cat back, +6 degrees)

taking time to blue print the bottom end and break it in... and not have 190k miles on it... helps

btw honda likes to say the A6 puts down 108hp... wheel or flywheel is debateable since most of the A6 cars see higher numbers on the dyno than 108.

edit: i'll see if i can find my old charts and print outs.

throw a y8 head on that bitch!!
get the head p&p'ed port match the intake yourself. i ran this setup in my ef hatch with stock 20 over pistons and pulled 134hp and 120 something tq!!! for about 3-4 hundred u could have 20 more hp.Might be more than that with engine management.
