250 mi on a full tank of gas?
i just got my 2001 gsr. all i have is a aem. i get about 250 b4 my needle is bout to get to the E. is this normal for the rest of you gsr's? and i am pumping premium gas
seems kinda low. then again i got an LS (lower gears) and drive highway alot. I get closer to 300 miles off of 10 gallons, not sure what full (11ish?) would be.

I can get 250 easily in town with lots of hard starts and aggressive driving. The max I've gotten in town was 300-310.
ummm i use to get about 200-250 per tank, agressive driving, that was about 21mpg, lately i have been getting 260-290 a tank averging a lil over 25mpg, so i'm happy considering i have a 4banger that eats gas like a V8.
Yeah i was wondering if there was something wrong...but after reading all of the post i feel that my 250-270 on a full tank is not that bad I had mustangs in the past that got better gas milage but who knows...besides they have a 15 gallon tank...
BTW i upgrade from domestic to Acura...got a 00 GS-R
thanks for putting my doubts to rest

i get anywhere between 250 and 300 per tank depending on how hard i drive, so yours seems about right, i once got over 430 per tank but that was with a busted radiator and i never drove over 60mph for a week till the new one arrived
How many gallons can you squeeze into your tank on E. I get about 9-10, and about 250-280 miles. My gas gauge lies. I never believe it. I just use my odometer. I have owned to g3's. Both gas gauges suck.
If you are making at least 24-25 mpg, I would not worry.

Last night I drove a solid 5 hours, then this morning let my car warm up then put gas in it. The gas light was on steady and I put in over 11 gallons (334 miles).

Yo Acura racer, what exactly is a "68 Pro Street Comaro " in your sig? Maybe Camaro??
Damn my bad never even noticed it...thanks for pointing that out...and to answer your question it was my drag car...I used to race in a staright line now I race around turns...but thanks for the spelling catch I feel stupid now...also it means I run it on DOT aproved tires and its street leagal barely by the liscense plates alone

it really depends on a lot of factors.. whether its all highway miles (if so thats kidna low), city miles, a mix between the two.. also if you take a lot of short trips and drive your car hard that will decrease gas mileage...
doing full highway (driving from so cal to nor cal) i have gotten 340 miles before filling up.. that was leaving my house... going to gas station to fill up.. and the rest was all highway (I5) which even has a pretty steep climb..
i think if you do a decent amount of city driving.. or you drive your car hard on the highway.. then thats pretty normal... i usually get anywhere from 250-300 miles before filling up in mixed (city and highway) driving..

I average about 275 with my GSR and it's about half highway, half city. Try calculating your MPG to get a better estimate. I know I can run on E for quite some time.

I used to get like 330 consistantly, like 75% highway miles.
Now it's closer to 270.. it sucks.

I used to get around 180-190 per tank. Now that my clutch is about to go, I have stopped engine braking completely and have been driving kinda easy. The result is around 280 miles per tank. Keep in mind my car has 118k on it, your results may vary.
