Default J SPEC S2k MOTOR?

im sure this has been ask before, tryed searching havent really got anything.
My friend blew up his 00 s2k and is looking for a jspec motor for a replacement, he is only looking for the motor and hasent found a place that just wants to sell the motor.
Anyone have good experiences on here?

dropped a valve in 2 diff cylinders got some med scraches in the cylinder walls pistons look like a dogg got to them... he looking to get rid of it let me know if u want pics....

JDM motor wouldn't be able to pass emission, but ure from MI so i guess it wouldn't matter

Make sure you stay with good gas. That 11.7 CR is a doozy. Be glad you're not in CA with shitty 91 oct.

yea we have 93 octane everywhere
and emissions dont matter, michigan rules for that!!

How much of a price difference between a J-spec f20 and a USDM F22 anyways? I thought the import/shipping cost would offset that. Then there's the whole "JDM demand" thing that kicks prices around.

Not for the '04+ models. The JDM AP2's keep the 2.0, while the US models get 2.2
