Anyone interseted in 4.7 final drives for Sohc trannys?
Top Fuel has just introduced these bad boys out over here and I was just wondering what the interest would be from you guys in the states

I'm looking into it right now 
I just found out about 6hrs ago ..but I wouldn't think they would be more than 450$ USD
I'll keep everybody up to date as soon as I get the final price and suf

actually aj-racing.com has some 4.7 and 4.9FD for d-series for only $595 canadian (about $375US)...

why swap to 4spd tranny....just get si tranny, they are very cheap...just about $100-150 or so....to swap internals will cost you much more $$$ then the si tranny

eg6ajk do you know if those final drives will fit the cable transmission? Is there a difference between the hydraulic and cable transmission case?

cable and hydro trannys use a slightly different countershaft betweem the two. I think the L3 shaft is 2 mm short and no you cannot shim it.
But the ring gears are the same.
