Default Worth It? (Exhaust)

Looking for a quiet exhaust system and was leaning toward the rsr exhaust, but noticed that the 550.00 price tag is high compared to most exhaust systems. One imparticular is the world sport exhaust system from apex. Had this on my gsr/hatch awhile ago and loved it, the exhuast is priced at 400.00.

So what am I getting over the world sport with the rsr by paying 150.00 more?

what are you getting? horsepower.
The worldsport is a chambered exhaust, like a stock exhaust. Not the best flow, but great at reducing sound.
The RS*R exmag is a twin pass exhaust, meaning the piping does a loop inside the can, giving it twice the length to muffle the sound. This makes for a quiet exhaust, and awesome flow for best HP.
Also, the world sport is all shiny and chromy, not only is it ugly, but it's a bitch to keep clean.
The RS*R is even more sleaper. Full stainless steel tubing, then coated in ABS plastic so it looks almost stock. Perfect sized tip, great fit, and awesome quality.
If you go through wiredspeed.com you might be able to get it for $500 shipped.
I talked to white98ls on team-integra.net and got it for $500

Awesome exhaust.

Cool man.

Yea it looks like stock, but do you still get an exhaust grunt from it or is it close to stock in sound as well?

Its almost too stock for my tastes....if thats possible

I have been debating getting an RSR Exmag as well. From everything I have read it seems well worth the price. I did a quick search and found it for $499 with free shipping at http://www.evasivemotorsports.com, but I don't know anything about them. Anyway, good luck with your decision.

Rsr is well worth the money, but if all that is holding you back is the price, then why not have one made. Buy whatever muffler your taste aquires and bring it to a muffler shop and have it custom bent at a half the cost. Some shops crush bend and others mandrel bend, so do some research.
