Stock Teg exhaust - is it that bad?? Searched =)
hello - on my h23 integra i have headers air intake all the normal jazz, but apparently i have a stock exhaust on the car.
well - does the stock exhaust completely suck?
if i were to grab a quiet yet still high flow exhaust what would you guys reccomend, also how do pipe sizes matter if i have around 160 ft/lbs of torque and about 180 whps could i go with a 2.5 inch pipe or would that be too much??
any recommendations on pipes you guys have liked would really help. also is the high flow catylitic converter worth it? or should i just open it up and knock out that comb stuff in it? I live in montana we do not have any smog tests or anything here though in the near future i am heading to game design school in seattle so would that get me in trouble??
Thanks a lot guys.

Well about the pipe sizing:
most NA setups run between the 2.25 -> 2.5
i ran a 2.36 i believe w/ apex n1 catback
i used to live in mn with no smog also, i got myself a test pipe. it was extremely too loud for me, and now that i live in cali, i have a high flow instead.
I wouldn't really suggest gutting the cat, then it would serve rather useless, u might as well get a test pipe.
i'd say check the laws for seattle, and decide from there to prevent hassle in the future

for a good quiet exhaust get the rs*r ex-mag, apexi ws2, or greddy sp2
Also replacing with a hi-flow cat or even a test pipe would be a good idea if you got no smog tests.
