Default which ECU should i use??? Smart input please

I had a D16Y8, swaped to jdm D15B, im useing same ecu. Should i be useing the JDM D15B ECU or does it really matter?

you are talking about a 10th of a litre difference. when push comes to shove, the correct ecu for the engine is the way to go. but if all you have is the y8 ecu, and you arent getting the CKF and knock codes the y8 ecu will work fine. but if you are getting a cel for the CKF and the knock, get the d15b ecu, or a p28.

id say get the p28. it aint going to hurt anything. and the p28 has a better future if u have plans too boost or more performance.
