ok so I have the h22 in and im driving it without the knock sensor or vtec solenoid hooked up because im not sure what pins to place them in and I am going to have a shop do it this weekend. Also I am still using the accord radiator. It drove fine without over heating for an hour, but then when i started giving it more throttle to about 5-6k for a little bit it began to overheat. Is this because its running in limpmode and i need to keep it below 4 until i get that stuff hooked up or is the accord radiator not going to cut it. Really need you guys on this one thanks again.
Have you checked that your fans are hooked up? Also did you check the thermostat? Both of those could also cause your motor to overheat.
As far as pinning the ecu it is very easy to do, I would not be taking it to a shop to get it done, just do a search to find out what pins to run the wires to. There are alot of threads here that have that info on them.
Good luck

yes I know the fans are working cause they keep going after the car turns off. Secondly I am not sure about the thermostat but i dont think its that because why are the fans continuing to go after the cars off every single time i turn it off. Yes I change the water pump. Could it be that the accord radiator wont cut it? This never ever once happened with the f22 by the way. Secondly, it is consuming coolant like a fat kid on a birthday cake.
no, it is not the radiator. if it is, it was going bad to begin with. i am still using an accord radiator. i am not even sure if a prelude one would fit anyways. your thermostat could be failing or some other issue. but the accord radiator can handle even a turbo charged engine 300hp+. don't know the max though. i have yet to see any h22 swap require a radiator change as well.

That means you probably have a head gasket going.........
