Default trans problem?!?! im dumb

i just put a usdm itr swap in my ek.everything was fine. i connected the shift linkage.and my friend put the stabilizer bar on the trans and he used a bolt that looked too big.it fit but we took the bolt out bc the bar wasnt snugg.and trans fluid came out. like pretty much the same as draining it. i put it back in like a turn and it completly stopped.

what should i do? use honda bond or teflon tape on a smaller screw???? please help

stabilizer bar on a trans? im not following man.

are you talkin about the bolt for the drain?

cause it seems like you put in the bolt and it went in wrong. like you messed up the threads. if thats the case you can get a new bolt and tap the hole if the threads are really jacked up

theres 2 bars that go to the trans ..not the BITCH bolt one.the other one. the screw that hold the stablizer bar onto the trans.we used the wrong one.too long.i thinkit hit the trans case.pulled it out.. trans fluid came out..dunoo?

I know what your sayin here. Use the origional bolt that went there and gunk a bunch of HondaBond on the end of the bolt so when it sets it will act like a plug. Hopefully removing the bolt in the future wont pull out the HondaBond.
