im looking in geting a new sports car but i kant dicide to get a 2000 civic si or a 1998 integra type r. im looking for speed

i was looking at ebay and they had a clean 2001 type r for 14g"s . what year do you think is the best for a type-r?

there is saying that year 98 was the fastest but then again its not huge difference. if you prefer CW paint then look for 97 or 98. 2000 and 2001 came with the PY and FB. 14g is not that bad of a price. if its the one with 70k miles.. but i would not recomend buying car through ebay though.

If you cant tell which one is better you shouldnt get either. go read some more first.

There are usually several of each available in the Honda-Tech Marketplace. I suggest looking there first.

TYPE R all the way...you'll love the way it handles on a track and won't be dissapointed what i can do on a drag strip as well...fun to drive car! but be prepared for some really short gears :-D

he should do more than just read. if its a first car id rock the si, if it doesnt get stolen chances are itll fall to the inexperienced...

if it is first car get the SI. It has power options for luxury and stuff. Type r doesn't have a moonroof...*sigh* but it is because it's more sporty. PLus civic parts are cheaper.
