Default my PCV idea....evacuation pump.......feedback needed

well im hoping this doesnt sound too dumb but i have been looking at some PCV evacuation pumps for my car. and so far i have found a few but they are in the 1,000.00 dollar range and i cannot afford that.

so i was looking for the next closest thing i could find, and i came across the ole' ebay electric supercharger!

if you were to cap one end off or both, and put a barbed fitting, and have it routed to a catch can, do you think it would work?

this is the pump

this is my AWESOME diagram! i am by no means an artist

would it work okay? i have seen pro mod cars with similar style setups, but these are the 1000 dollar pumps

Have you considered OEM vac pumps? Some older GM cars had them.

It should work for a while, but eventually overheat and crap out due to oil sludge build-up. Those units rob quite a bit of amps as well, so your gains from pulling the crankcase gases will not even offset the added load from the alternator IMO
