Default newbie here... pics of my current project

hey guys.. heard good things about this site.. my car is an 88 crx hf... its got a b18a1... ls tranny, chipped pm6 running a basic boost map right now.. getting it tuned once i get the rest of my setup complete..

my setup consists of

garret t3 turbo, internally gated
ebay special tubular manifold (brand unknown)
custom made charge piping (not pictured)
custom downpipe (also not pictured)
blitz bov
dsm 450cc injectors
92-95 half sized radiator

car should be running hopefully this weekend... ive got to finish up the welds on the charge piping and downpipe.. and get my bov flange welded up..

looks good but it looks like you have a ss autochrome manifold, i would look into getting a different one, and yes you should brace the manifold.

why did you place your rad, so close to the motor?

Welcome to the fourms. Looking at your car, you should fit right in.

thanks guys.. ya the guy i bought the manifold from said it WAS NOT the ssautocrap... looks like it is though after closer inspection.. this wont be a daily driver.. more of a weekend toy/race car..... so hopefully it'll be ok until the snow starts to hit around here.. im looking into a way better manifold right now.. any suggestions? dont want to spend a whole lot.. but i know quality doesnt come cheap..

oh and about the radiator.. its angled that way because its a bitch to get in there any other way.. it either hits my downpipe, or sticks out way low from under the car... until i get the money for an aftermarket crossmember/new radiator that will have to do...

ya.. mine does have the bracing on teh back.. looks a little weak though.. i might look into adding some bracing over the winter, or building a bracket to mount the turbo to the block..

ive only got 2000 wrapped up in my setup..thats including the price of the car.. so i think im doing pretty good... ill let everybody know how it runs once i get her tuned and on the road
