Rust; Why I hate Wisconsin.
In my prolonged build of my car I have ran into a few snags, the biggest being the rust my car seems to attract everday. Like a hooker gathering new STD's my car is disease filled, new ones appear everyday. I have tried to combat the cancer by sanding and priming and re-sanding, but still it presists and spreads. My rocker panels for instance look like any other from a distance, mildy fithy but still attractive, but upon closer inspection from unerneath the beast they are wasting away as I speak. Filled with the unatractive brown crusty slop I have grown to hate. I find myself pondering the question; Why? Why should I put more love and care into the beast if it will ownly succumb to the cancer negligent owners of the past have created? Shall I throw caution to the wind and push on with my dream of The Blue Beast from the East comming alive, or should I jump ship and swim to a new horizon, filled with Honda's of a less skanky breed? What would you do, if you found this under your rear carpet?

You are aware most primer is porous...and on bare metal with no topcoat moisture will still get through and start rust. You want to use a catalyzed primer if you are not topcoating real soon.
