Default Oil?

Ive had my car 2001 GSR taken away for me for many reasons. Its been taken away from eversince January2 , 2002 Im always on top of my oil I have 4,975 miles on my car now my next change is 6,600. Evrynow and then my parents will let me run it and take it around the block but not alot. The question is will my oil get sluggish( thick) and turn my engine bad?

i don't think so. as long as you start the car and let it run every coupe of days.
and your taking it around the block once in a while, so thats good also.
i sugguest you chang your old very 3500 miles. especially when your a racer.
that oil gets black quick

I have no sympathy for him either. Dumbass.

To answer the question, the oil should be fine. Is the car kept in a garage? My Type R frequently sits for over a month without being driven. I usually have to charge the battery to start it. The oil has been holding up just fine. I don't even have problems with moisture in the oil. My car is garaged though.

The questions is what did he do to deserve this lol. Mommy took your car away from you and now your not allowed to drive?
You have been bad huh.
did she spank you to?
j/k
if you drive your car at least twice a week you should be fine. Even once but twice to be on the safe side. Tell your mom that in order to keep an integra in good running condition you have to drive it every day. Otherwise it will break down. Maybe she will fall for that. Oh ya and tell he to keep your car lasting longer you should get a turbo so that it will be fuel efficient.

change the oil, run it for 15-20 mins, and store the car until your allowed to have it back. Turn it on once a week for like 8 minutes to recirculate the oil and to try and keep the battery charged.

jeez, i wish my mom had bought me a GSR before i even had a licence, i wouldnt care if she took it off me every now and then once i knew that when io got my licence it was sitting there waiting for me, once a week should be fine, top keep the oil circulating and prevent the heavier sedatives from sinknig to the bottom of the sump.

he just asked a ?. no big deal. it should be fine just start up the car every couple days, take it around the block (or city) whenever you can, and change it at the next interval.
