Cold Air Intake from 03' 4Cyl for 05' 4Cyl...
My friend has been trying to find out if the AEM CAI from the 03' Accord 4Cyl. will also fit on his 05' 4Cyl? From what I have researched it seems like the 05' Accord 4Cyl is equipped with a MAF sensor unlike the 03' Accords. Can anyone shine some light on this topic? Thanks in advance!
Guys at Honda say there's no difference between the two cars. Try it. If it doesn't fit, you have two options:
1. Lose it, get another one.
2. Make it fit!!

Why not look under the hood?
The MAF sensor is #15 shown over on the right of this picture.

The car will either have one or not... If it DOES, it can't use the CAI.

Just like I thought, my friends car does have the MAF sensor. Did all 05 Accord 4cyl. switch over to MAF sensors? I looked under the hood of an 03' Accord and I didn't see the MAF sensor but did notice the IAT sensor in the intake tube near the throttle body.
My '03 doesn't have one, but I think one version of the K24 that year has it. Maybe that's the Calif.ULEV or something like that? So maybe ALL '05s have it??
