Ok i got a friend with a 90 CRX with Dual point. dropped in a LS motor. we used the Engine harness from his 90 Integra along with the resistor box.

The car will not start or Idle. if we use starting fluid the car will run. so why wont the car run? Im a OBDI guy so im inexperienced with the OBDO stuff

if im looking at the ECU plugs the Big yellow 16 pin is connector A? the Meduim sized on with 20 pins is B? and the small one with 16 is C?

1st
I took the C1 wire and moved it to the B10 then C2 to the b12.

2nd
Then i took the wires off the dizzy:
Blue with green stripe and moved it to the Pin C1
Blue with yellow stripe and moved it to the Pin C2

3rd
The TPS wires were already swapped since we used the the Integra Harness

4th

I took the red wire off injector #2 and moved it to pin A3
I took the Yellow wire off the #4 injector and moved it to pin A7

 

get rid of the integra harness and use the crx harness. use the teg harness for the plugs

 

Hahaha. Dude.........good luck. We had the same kind of problems doing the swap in my car and it's 2 months later now and I've abandoned the car and am buying a CRX Si Shell to put the motor in and go. Was looking for a Whole Si Body harness to put in but had no luck there either. All the help you're prolly gonna get around here are from sour peeps who'll just tell you to do a stupid search. CRX didnt come with a Harness. so we have to use the Teg harness.

 

What fuel line did you use? I bet the one that came on the DPFI. If so change the fuel line going to the motor from the fuel filter to one that came off of a Si motor and I bet it will start. The DPFI fuel line is to small where you install it on the motor to let fuel pass through.

You need to do a search on DPFI to MPFI conversion.....first and formost do that or triple check it if you have done it. Until thats done you will get no further.

THe Teg harness is wired completely wrong...and there are exra wires that need to be added to the main harness and a few changes to be done at the ECU. REsearch it first...but that TEG harness is in no way plug and play...


There are preformatted charts out there you can compare to.
