Twin disc clutch setup
Okay im lookin at a twin disc clutch for my setup. My question is out of the three competiton clutch, tilton, and exedy which is the better piece. Im really just lookin for feedback from people who have used these. Are there any major modifications need to the transmission to run these. Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks
i love my exedy twin... you don't need to do anything to the trans bell housing. just throw it right in. i have 14,000 everyday driving on my exedy and about 60 passes at the track. 100 or soo dyno pulls... i would say go with exedy both i know everyone has personal feeling

i have a tilton twin ceramic with hydralic throgh out bearing but i have not yet use it. To compere with sachs racing clutches the tilton ones have only like 3 mm pucks... And I ca´n not say that replasement discs are cheep for the tilton. And the center of the discs is not sprung.. And the Flywheel is like a swiss cheese with alot of lightening holes in it.. I´ll see how it performs ones Ill have it in use on my turbo b16..
thanks for all the input guys i think i have decided on the competition clutch. I will be ordering it today...thats the last part other than turbo and manifold and the car will be ready for t4 next year....HOPEFULLY
I personally like the clutch master twin disc... The guys there are awsome.. If you are interested in a clutch masters I can get you one at unbeatable pricing... My old twin disc lasted me 3 years in a street strip setup...
