ctr pistons or stock b16 pistons?
I had a B16 with ctr pistons/rods, and a skunk2 head package with stg2cams, i jumped timing and snapped 4 valves on #1 cylinder and put about 4 holes through the piston
, the thing is i already have a stock b16 back in, and wonderin if you guys think the ctr pistons will make a whole lot of a difference, im gettin the valves i need to get the head back to where it was i miss the hi-reving, so what you think will it make that much of a difference?

Believe its worth a shot...cylinder prssures are bleeding off with stage 2 cams with the overlap...a slightly higher compression piston will restor some of that.....thats why new pistons are mandatory with stage 3 cams.
yeah it moved once vtec kicked in all the way to like 9800
, ill just keep savin to do the bottom end too once i get the rest of my valves

I know people love CTR's but that high piston dome on high revs can a spell trouble even on motor that has been clayed. If I were you I would go with a wiseco or cp piston. Also, if you rebuild head get the omniman valve train up grade (new dual valve springs, retainers, and keepers)
