Skunk2 coilovers with Illuminas?
i installed the tokico illuminas a few days ago and ive been going through all the numbers (1-5) and ive been having diffivulty trying to find the most comfortable setting. i find that the settings that are supposed to be the best for comfort like 1 to 3 actually give a bit of a bounce. i think this is due to the overlly sprung skunk2 spring?? is anyone else finding this?? and that higher numbers 4 and 5 give a much more firm and stable ride??
yes, you are correct. the higher the rates, the tighter the shocks have to be to"hold" the springs back from bouncing.
either run your shocks higher or lower your spring rate to fix it. you could possibly try better shocks to see if that would help. hopefully somebody running with koni's will respond.
