i have 90 integra gs with the b18a1 and im eventually going to rebuild and turbo it. right now i just need a new clutch but was thinking about just upgrading the tranny with a whole new one from a newer model. should i do that or maybe rebuild the tranny.

 

you can put any 94+ b-series trans on the motor/in that car, provided you use the hasport cable to hydro conversion kit.

in other words, ls, gsr, b16, type r will all work with the hasport kit

if i put for example, a 94+ gsr tranny with my b18a1 and needed a new clutch kit and flywheel, would i order it for the b18a1 or a gsr 94+ tranny?

Its the same. Either will work.

IMO go with a b16 tranny.

the input shaft on the cable trans is smaller I believe

b-series flywheel, 94+ b-series clutch
