Axel problem
my b18c type-r axel snapped on my car. we got a new axel, and found that it is way shorter then the stock axel. It seems to almost hafta be out of hte transmission in order to reach the wheel, and put the bolt on. Should i put the stock axels back on, was that the reason it broke before, or is that the way it is supposed to be? Let me know.

My stock was 26", and this new one i got is 24", and that was the same size that broke in half (the 24") I cant seem to get the nut on the spindle threads, unless i pull the axel outta the tranny, and this is what i think happened with the old one, and it spun on the teeth, and broke. So is there a 26" i can get? or what

bc i had a d16 motor, and now i have a b18c type-r motor. Thats why i needed new axles..... so i am wondering if i need 26" axles b/c thats what the stock were, and the 24" that was in the b18c motor was the one that broke.
WHen i had the motor swap they took out the 26" in length for the 24" in length., The 24" on the front passenger side snapped in half.

The inner CV should be all the way against the trans and it should be easy to thread the spindle nut on the axels. Sounds like you got the wrong axel to me. Like Gambit said 99-00 si axel and you should be all good.
