Default Slicks Q

Ok, my friend is about to invest in some slicks for his 94 gsr.
eventually it will probably be in the 12 second range. what are a good set of wheels/slicks for his setup? right now its pretty much stock. im new to this slicks thing so any info would be nice (Also i will be getting a pair for my 94 coupe with a b16a so any imput would be appreciated)

well, if the tegs have stock size brakes, 22x8x14 MT's on 14x8 wheels.

What would be the ideal slick size for someone running low 12's and high 11's for an all motor CRX? Willing to buy drag wheels, but also wanting to know ideal size of wheels.
