d16z6 out and b20 block in HELP
hi everyone, obviously im new here, and i really need some help. i have a 1995 civic ex with a d16z6. i bought the car when i was 16 and have added 17's, a new exhaust, short cool air intake, and side graphics. but now, 2 years later im finding that im not satisfied with the car and dont really have any street cred. thats why i wanna do the engine swap. my stepdad who is a genius with all types of cars and mechanical stuff will be helping me out. ive been reading up on all the different swaps and the b20 with b16 head sounds good. since im obviously not that smart, is this possible to put in my car or not? if it is, sweeet. how would i go about it and is there anything really specific that me or my stepdad would not know that we should do? is the high rpm's a problem with this swap, i think thats what ive heard. any info u guys can give a noob would be great. thnx and have a great day.

You make me feel like I'm reading a script from Need for Speed.
But on a serious note:
Just do a comprission check on the z6, put on some sort of turbo kit and call it a day. I think a motor swap is out of the question, as you can not simply buy a prebuilt motor swap(maybe you can....,) but just research more and you'll know what you want.
Take off the graphics and all that gangi.

yes, you can put a/any b-series motor in your civic. you will need most or all of the motor mounts off of a b-series motor.

the only turbo i can find for my engine would cost me over 3G's.
I found a B16 head for $450 and a B20 block for $550. Thats only $1000.
Isn't that a better deal?

I pieced together my entire turbo kit for 1200. For a z6 even cheaper, because alls you have to do is chip your ecu.
