Default question... is the audio in and auxiliary in feature...

on a deck the same thing??? I need to find a deck with audio in.. but i only see decks that says aux. in?

It is about the same, AUX. in, normally means a preamp audio signal input, I have seen AUDIO IN on some units, although a preamp signal can be used, one that is already amped will be louder, like the headphone output from a MP3 player.
SQ is always better if you feed a preamp "audio" signal into a AUX., [preamp input]. What is it you want to do? 94

what is it that i wanna do???

I have a mobile video recorder player...dvd/mpe..etc etc and wanna play it through my car speakers....

i didnt wanna get a tape deck and play through a cassette so i was gonna get a cd deck with a input feature so i can use an audio cable instead of the cassette to the deck..

make sense?

Any HU with an AUX input will do, you can even get adpt. for HU that have a cd changer control port on them to change that port into an AUX input. But because you don't have the HU yet, just get one with AUX in, it will be a plug and play hook up. 94
