Default OK, Here She Is..............My 1st Integra

Its a 98 gsr. 75k old and completely virgin except for an intake. It was girl driven. Thats why the body work....hehe. Bought it for a lil over 7k. Tell me what you guys think!!!! Super clean except for the body ( which at this point only needs a lip kit...wtb....and paint) To add tech to this, i have a semi tubo kit for it. Ive got a t3/t4 .48ar 60 trim, drag mani, tial wg, apexi twin chamber bov, spearco ic. I still need to fab up charge pipes. Besides injectors, what do i need? I was thinking greddy blue box. I only want to run 6-8lbs of boost, so that should do right? How about missing link? Anything im missing?

Run Hondata or something equivalent for your EMS. I thought only pre-98 GSR's were available with cloth interier but i guess i was wrong

Yes, I think its necessary... Without proper tuning it'll probably mess up and blow.. It doesnt hurt to be safe.. Getting proper engine management now would be way better than getting it later after you blow your engine.. Id do it just to be on the safe side.

Looks like a good car to build from. How much did you get it for?

hondata, aemems , and other ems have a lot more things you can do, check out hondata.com for features, the greddy blue box's and fmus don't give you a lot of control in terms of tuning since it basically has one setting, and only controls fuel, while other EMS's can control timing

Thanks....im really looking foward to driving the new family member. Cant wait to give it some steroids.......errr.....boost! Alarm is a given. They are cheap and worth every penny. Now that i think about it, nothing about cars is cheap. Now i know why im always broke............................,but like i said, worth every penny!

It looks like a preety good car, as far for the body i wouldnt worry bout it, u dont see the extirior when ur inside driving it and if ur going turbo make sure u build it right from the start thats what everyone on here is gonna tell and plus thats a nice engine u dont wanna screw that up.
Good luck with the project

You don't necessarily need Hondata or a top of the line EMS system like AEM EMS. First convert over to OBD1 (conversion harness), and get your ecu chipped with either UberData, Crome, etc.

These programs are good And they will save you some $$. Just get it street tuned, hop on the dyno, and back out on the street. It's all about the tune. Granted that is a stock gsr motor, so I really wouldn't push it over 250-275whp if its a daily driver, although many have taken theirs over 300whp Granted it probably won't last as long.

Just don't boost too much and maintain it well and you should be fine. Although those motors aint like D's, and LS's, so if it does go, and you decide to replace it, its not going to be nearly as cheap.
