Hell yeah it is! I would do it in a heart beat if I could for sure get my car bar'd and smog legal here. Since Cali is gay I am going to either have to move or build up my B18C1

Yup N.Y. is sort of the same but I have my ways around that. Also i think it will help me hit my 350 hp mark.

back when I had my teg, I thought about doing that swap, but, I realized it would put way too much weight over the front wheels, thus making the car very nose heavy. The integra already, being FWD, and nose heavy will understeer a lot, and the K, being mounted as far foward as it is, will make it much worse. It'd only be good if you were doing drag racing.

Theres a lot of people that would argue that. Considering that the same is said about an H22 in an Integ. I personally doubt it will have any serious impact on handling because of the slight weight difference. Just my two cents.

Acutally the way the Kswap leans is further back then the B18's making it better, and the weight is like a 10 pound diffrence if that!

The K is not as heavy as the H22, Also like the guy said it's only a few lb's heavy R then a B. Plus whith the power +LSD+BOOST+a suspension upgrade it will do just fine.
I also think that you are mixin up the fact ,that the body of the rsx is heavy.
That I know for sure
I might be wrong I don't know what is really in ur head. BUt thanx for your input.

And yes I have already sent the money for the K20. should be in my home in about 5 days

also to mention i'm not sure about the K but i know for sure that the H22 sits low in the engine bay and tilted towards the rear, which is even better for weight distribution. i also heard some weird **** about VR accord sedan race cars with destroked H22's (to 2.0L, for higher redline) where the V6 engine mounts let the H22 sit totally behind the front wheels. badass!

Uh.... Yeah. I never said the weight was the same, just made a point to Mr. Doohmass that the same so called theory has been said about the H22 and even that has not been proven to have any negative effect in handling. Not mixing anything up just making a point. Notice I said "slight weight difference". Anyways not getting into it any further there is post after post about this same discussion.

I would love to see a teg with a K20 typer r, good luck with that. Peace

i think the deal with the H22 is like this: it's heavier, yes, but most of the people who do it are doing it to drag race, and those that aren't probably aren't as worried about handling as going fast in a straight line. and the people who race their cars will realize that the power gained by going H22 will far outweigh any difference in handling the weight would make . . . and besides, those people don't have a/c or p/s so the H22 isn't so heavy for them.

i got a better idea. take that money that you would have spent on a CF hood (minimum $300) and get a treadmaster. it will get you more women AND make your car lighter .
