Default ECU & Tuning Help

I'm posting this for my brother since he doesn't have time to. All I'm gonna ask is that if you can't help me/him, don't post some stupid **** about why he's doing what he's doing. We've heard it all.

His Setup:
98 Civic Sedan
D16Y7 Engine
Auto Tranny
Custom Turbo Mani/T25 Turbo
All Custom piping, Exhaust
DIY ITB's w/ Custom Intake Box

Basically we're having trouble finding a piggyback ECU or standalone that will allow him to keep his stock OBD2 ECU. He had a P06 (sp?) chipped by XenoCron to run uberdata then found out it wouldn't work since he has an auto tranny. He's now trying to sell it. Is there anything out there that he can use w/ out having to switch to OBD1 or swap to manual? I suggested Hondata S300 or AEM EMS Plug N Play but I don't know enough about either one other than what's listed on those companies websites.

He needs something that will work w/ OBD2, auto tranny, and boost/itb's.

Thanks in advance.

How did you guys do your ITB Pletium? Pics? I was thinking of making one of those.

Anyway for your question i believe AEM EMS is what you guys are going to want to go with. Im pretty sure if you call AEM direct theyll be able to help you guys better.

He called AEM today and asked them, they said their stuff only works w/ manual transmission cars.

No pics yet, it's not done being welded yet. Its just a box - ITB's - runners - cut stock manifold. The box was made out of some scrap aluminum.

I am pretty sure that hondata doesn't work with auto trannies either. Best bet might be a piggy back with ignition control.

That's what we're trying to find. He has an SAFC but he needs something else that will tune for the boost and itb's.

If EMS doesnt have something for you guys you could try the more expensive guys like Motec or DeFi. Those are fully programable ecu's But i think they might be antiauto transmission. You need to make your own ecu just about.

That being said just convert to manual.
