ive got a 98 civic with a stock radio and keyless and i want CD player, but i dont want to lose my keyless.

i know about the special harness to use with an aftermarket CD player then shove the stock radio behind the dash but i was wondering if i found a stock CD player from a 96-98 civic or maybe even integra if that would work as well.

now that i think about it...isnt the 96-98 factory CD player, in the lower part of the dash, separate from the am/fm radio...

ahh yeah thats right it is down at the lower part of the dash....now i just need to find a used one

you can put an aftermarket cd player in the car if you want, you just have to tuck the factory radio and leave it powered up with constant power (yellow wire) and ground (black).

p.s. the wire colors stated are AFTERMARKET not factory, do not find these wires in factory wire and splice them, you will do unknown damage to your car.

if you still want factory keyless and a factory radio but with a cd player, you have to find one from a civic between the years of 96-96 that has a green plug on the back of it
