Tranny Problems: (*searched-unsuccessful)
Ok honda gurus i'm a recent new subscriber to the forums and fairly new to Hondas (ex-DSM'r) have car knowledge and know-how but no idea where to start....did the basic check over with wheels off and someone gassing the car while on stands...proper precautions took. Ok hear is the problem my car is making a loud grinding/rubbing noise (seems to be from driver's side) only when gassed throughout the whole gassing process but stops as soon as i release the gas. When not gassed: Rolling/moving no noise, turning no noise, etc. ONLY when it is being gassed!!! In my basic inspection nothing looked out of the ordinary and nothing was broke everything was the way it was suppose to be. Checked the axle that was good no movement. I'm hoping it is just the tranny.....my worst fear is block damage...CRANK??? if it is just the tranny i'm good i have another tranny lined up....but wanna make sure it is the tranny only!!! I have already flushed and re-filled the tranny with Honda MTF no good with that. Help is very much appreciated. Thank You
Ooops car is 93 Civic DX w/B16A motor, GSR hydro tranny.

no it doesn't whine.... more like a deep grinding/ rubbing noise (sounds like something large) you know a sharp grinding noise is something small or sharp causing a sharp noise this seems deeper noise meaning large...does that make sense?? can't really explain the sound.... no it's definately not a whine noise.... thanks for the reply tho.
