Default RSX Type S Swap

I have a 2004 RSX Type S complete swap for my 2001 Honda Civic. The only thing I dont have is the RSX key. I was told I need this key to start the motor. The car was salvaged and the key was lost prior to me buying the swap. What can I do to get another key or what can I do to start the motor. Nothing has been installed yet.

you don't need the rsx key.
You have 2 choices.

1. Take it to Honda w/ the engine in the car and have them flash ur key to mat ch the ecu. THey will run the vin on the engine to see it is legit. cost $80-150.

2. Shipped your ecu to Hondata have it kpro. Have them disable the immobilizer. Cost 1k+.

Here read this. Give you a better item on what you need on the swap.

Go with the Hondata, you'll have a completely tuneable ECU, trust me, it's definately worth it. Also made my swap much easier
