Where can I get the navigation system without going on ebay? Are there any dealers that sell them like Inline four or something

And yes it does work! I have a friend that works at alpine and he can make me a cd with us road maps

How? Dont japanese cd players use a different format? Like how JDM ps2 games dont work on a USDM ps2.

no. they might use different characters, but your talking about a universal data storage format. not some video game.

 

Technically, the navi function should be functional by getting a navi CD. Alpine most likely made the unit for Honda and all navigation software is mapped through the same company anyway. Good luck!

CD/DVD players/TV's use different two formats based on region, PAL or NTSC. I dont know what reigon uses what. I referred to the video games as an example.

Ever used a modchip/gameshark and switched it on PAL on your NTSC ps and it still works!!

I JUST BOUGHT A CTR NAVIGATION SYSTEM. I HAVE A 96 EJ HATCH. I READ IN THE ARCHIVE THREADS THAT CHERCHEZ LA GHOSAT
MANAGED TO HOOK IT UP WITH AN OEM FIT. I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE COULD HELP ME WITH AMY NAVI SYSTEM. WAS WONDERIN WHAT I NEED AND HOW 2 INSTALL.THANX
