I assume this thread is ok here... But does anyone that's seen the new Civic SI know if the seats will probably or probably not fit in the EK? I just love them... Will be waiting for someone to wreck their SI so I can get the seats for my EK. I'm sure they'll fit, but just curious if anyone that's had a chance to see the car in person thinks they'll fit.

i want to do the same with my del sol, im just curious how much theyll run for. prolly more than the s2k seats

 

I doubt more than s2k seat's although I could be wrong. S2k is a "high end" Honda so I'm sure the seats are higher quality and thus more expensive than the econo-civic.

BTW I think they'd look great in a Del Sol...wish I still had mine :'(

 

ew god, they are so ugly, i think the EP3 seats look better than those....they look all crucnched up and nasty, plus the headrest is ugly.

i mean, i bet they are comfy (nice quality too) but they are just *** ugly.

lol when i first saw the seats that was the same thought that went through my head .. therefore im dying to kno if these weill fit my si

 

EP3 seats suck compared to these. Im 6'1 185 lbs and the new 06 si seats hug me soo right. i got to drive one at the tire rack 2 weeks ago and they held up just fine. the suspension is fairly nice from the factor as well

and the new Si doesnt have bombs built into the seats like the ep3's do

those seats do like nice though

 

mother ****** the car ISNT OUT YET. Are you shittin me? I mean, your best bet is to find someone within Honda, and have them get you some dimensions. check with Helms and see if maybe a service manual is out, and do some more research, but are you seriously checking to see if a NON-released car's parts are interchangable?

Plus if you get one of the first wrecked ones, even used they'll be pricey.

 

Hmm they had 6 of them at the tire rack. Doing some tire testing and car and driver was there as well snappin off some pix. they let people take the car on the course on a light run with a Honda rep riding along. Thank god they moved the shifter back to the normal spot. and the throws between the gears are pretty damn short.

Hey ************ (lol funny word) it's just a question. You must have something against the 06 SI. Did someone test drivin it whoop your *** or somethin? It'll be ok, you'll make it. BTW someone said the seats were already for sale. You gotta figure, if the cars are already being produced, then so are the seats, and it's probably possible to get them.

I believe they will fit, provided you fab up a custom rail? Or maybe the seat pan can be swapped over. Who knows.
