Default gsr block/b16 head

I searched about the poor mans type r and their isn't much info on it.

Is it worth doing?

95 gsr block *stock*
B16a head port/polished
ITR cams
3 angle valve job

Would it be worth putting these 2 together?

Currently i have my JDM B16A2 in my eg and am very happy with it,But i'm wondering if i should go with the type r wannabe.

Is it reliable for a daily driver?

Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated

What ecu are you running? Are you planning on getting a V-AFC and tuning, or hondata?

since you got a b16 already and gsr short blocks dont go for much, i'd say go for it. i think its work it. or if your really short on cash just go lsvtec.

your compression is going to be lower than a stock GSR if you dont swap the pistons out. combustion chamber is larger on B16/ITR cylinder heads when compared to factory GSR heads.

The compression will drop .2 so i'm not to worried,I plan to boost it in the spring anyway.
