Default Coolant smell

I did a coolant serive and now when driving I smell coolant from inside the passenger compartment. I dont think anything is leaking but i will check the levels tomorrow. The car is not overheating, infact the gauge doesn't even go the half way point.
Anyone have any thoughts of what could be going on?

i doubt this is it but you can check and make sure your heater core isn't leaking. just check the passenger side floor for moisture or a strong smell of coolant

That was the first thing I checked. But I seriously can't figure it out. It still smells like coolant (yes I have had a couple people verify the smell). It is not leaking or burning coolant. Damn what celse could it be?

If you spilled any during your service it may just be burning off of what ever it is sitting on. Might take a few days for the smell to go. I would check your fluid levels regularly to see if in fact you are not burning coolant.

Yep... When I was doing coolent bypass I spilled quite a bit of coolant everywhere. Took about a week to get that smell rid of. If you serviced it properly and don't see any leaks thereafter, you should be fine.
