Anyone has a HKS Hiper Exhaust?? Do you have the same problem as me?
I recently bought the HKS Hiper Catback exhaust and the exhaust piping goes under the axle instead of over the axle.
I'm just wondering if you guys could still fit an aftermarket Rear Lower Tie Bar?
If the picture doesnt show up, just cut and paste the url onto another page.

Thanks

mine is like thaton my si too. I fit a neuspeed lower tie bar on just fine. The Dc wouldnt fit tho cuz that pipe.
I love the HKS Hiper exhaust, but its kind of loud.
Anyways, my Neuspeed lower tie bar wont fit.

All I have is for performance is
Advanced Ignition Timing
Nology Wires <----------This is the key
Custom (DIY) CAI
DC Headers
Test-pipe
RS*R Catback
This was on POS Stock Michelin tires.
I'm hoping to run faster times this season with my New HKS Hiper exhaust, light weight wheels/ A032R.
Then probably going to do some internal stuff later on in the season.

I have it on my teg, but the axle-back is custom so it goes up and over like stock. Cost me like $50 with SS piping from a good muffler shop.

i have an hks hyper too. the pipe does go under the axle area. no problems here.
I'm also running an HKS Hi-power (Hiper) exhaust. It does go below the rear LCA.
I've seen someone BEND their DC-sport rear tie bar quite at bit, in order for the two to fit. I'm sure a lower profile rear tie bar will work without modification (Spoon/Neuspeed/etc.).
BTW. I like what you did with the rear "grille".

Bending the DC Sports tie bar? I know the DC's bars are pretty flexible but doesnt that defeat the purpose of the bar?
Here's the picture of the Neuspeed bar. The bar sorta bends downwards a bit. I have the Neuspeed lower tie bar and I tried fitting it but it wont fit.

I cant find a picture of the Skunk2 bar but I think that should work.
Ya the rear grill is pretty unique, I havent seen anyone else that did rear grill up here in Vancouver. I have a front grill so I decided to do that rear too.
Thanks for fixing up the links for the pictures.

I can't really see all the piping on that car, but if it comes straight back under the rear suspension then bends over to the side, that would be the least restrictive setup (other than having it come straight out the middle). A bar like the Comptech billet bar might fit.
I wanted something less restrictive so thats why I chose the HKS Hiper exhaust.
Comptech stuff is hard to find in Vancouver, BC. Actually I don't think any shops here even carry Comptech stuff.
