clutch DIY?

Default clutch DIY?

is there a clutch DIY out there for a '90 Accord DX? the original clutch (190K) is starting to slip.

i don't want to PAY the man, i want to BE the man.

The best thing you could do is go buy a chilton manual to help prepare yourself.
You will need tall strong jackstands and a floor jack, air compressor and an impact would be nice too. A 36mm socket for the axle nuts and a 12point 10mm for the pressure plate bolts.
You can justify the tool costs against the labor money you are saving.

yes it is good...you will definatley save money if you can get it done as clutch jobs are $$$

i was told $5-600 installed.

since the clutch kit is only $150, i can't justify spending the other 4-5 hundred.

$4-500 is def a lot for a tranny install. it is a lot of work though.

if you are around ft lauderdale fl, i know someone who will do it for $250 labor. yes he is a certified mechanic.
