Getting rear interior panel off 98 hatch
(98 hatch dx)
I'm getting water leaks in the rear of the car, so I tried taking off the interior panels to see what was going on. The problem is I haven't gotten a single panel off yet. (Fronts were so easy...)
The rearmost panel (on the lower half on the car chassis, not on the hatch door) - do you remove this first, before the 2 big side panels? I took off the 2 plastic screw fastners on either side, and from the helm manual I know that there are 4 more clip-type fastners holding this panel on. Then I tried yanking and yanking but it won't pop off, and I'm afraid that if I really use my strength on it I'll rip or crack the panel. Anyone know a good way to pop this off without screwing anything up?
